BENZODIAZEPINES TEST INFORMATION

Methodology: Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS)

Drugs tested: alprazolam, alpha-hydroxyalprazolam, clonazepam, 7-aminoclonazepam, desalkylflurazepam, diazepam, alpha-hydroxyethylflurazepam, lorazepam, nordiazepam, oxazepam, temazepam, and alpha-hydroxytriazolam.

Positive cutoff: 20 ng/mL

Drug concentrations must be greater than or equal to the positive cutoff to be reported.

The presence of multiple benzodiazepines in the urine may indicate the use of multiple drugs and/or metabolism. The absence of expected drugs and/or metabolites may indicate non-compliance, poor drug absorption, inappropriate timing of specimen collection in relation to drug administration, adulterated/diluted urine, or limitations of the testing.

Interpretive questions should be directed to the laboratory.

This test is for medical use only. It is not valid for forensic or employment drug testing.
