Specimen Preparation
1.0 mL (0.5 mL minimum) Serum SST or Red Top. Allow serum to clot in an upright position for at least 30 minutes at room temperature. Centrifuge samples and separate serum from cells ASAP. Aliquot and freeze immediately.

Unacceptable Conditions
Grossly hemolyzed samples are unacceptable for testing.
