Fill 1 pediatric 1.8 mL Sodium Citrate (Blue) Tube. 
You must immediately invert the tube 3-4 times.

Unacceptable Conditions

  • Aliquot type not properly identified
  • Clotted specimen
  • Not frozen if required per stability conditions
  • Preferrred specimen is original tube unspun, ambient

Storage/Transport Temperature

Original tube unspun, ambient.

Stability (from collection to initiation)

Ambient: 24 hrs capped unspun, 2 hrs uncapped/spun
Frozen: 1 week
