Specimen Preparation
After receipt of the peripheral blood tube labeled “HistioTrak”, DO NOT aliquot or spin the blood. Please send directly to MGPS tube station 901.
Storage/Transport Temperature
For Peripheral blood and bone marrow samples:
If collected in STRECK Nucleic Acid BCT tube, ship at ambient temperature in insulated container by overnight courier. Do NOT freeze.
If collected in EDTA tube (outside clients ONLY), ship refrigerated in insulated container by overnight courier. Do NOT freeze.
FFPE-1 H&E slide and 6 unstained slides or paraffin blocks ship at ambient temperature.
For all samples please ship for delivery on Monday thru Friday.
