Interpretive Data

HLA Antibody Screen- 3-100% considered Positive (architecture consistent with antibody presence)
0-2% considered Negative

HLA Class I Antibody Specificity- HLA -A, -B, -Bw, -C: MFI (Median Fluorescence Intensity) range:  0 – 400000.
MFI values >500 may be considered Positive.  Final interpretation made by laboratory Director/Supervisor.

HLA Class II Antibody Specificity-  HLA-DRB1, -DQA1, -DQB1, -DRB3, -DRB4, -DRB5, -DPA1, -DPB1:  MFI (Median Fluorescence Intensity) range:  0 – 400000.
MFI values >500 may be considered Positive.  Final interpretation made by laboratory Director/Supervisor.
