1. A minimum of 1-2 mL of blood for children and 5-7 mL of blood for adults in a lavendar EDTA tube.
2. Specimen must be kept refrigerated. The specimen must be sent on/with a cold pack during transportation.
3. Specimen must be received at Hennepin Healthcare Electron Microscopy Laboratory within 1 hour.
4. Specimens accepted Monday-Friday 0700 to 1400.
