This test includes Plesiomonas shigelloides, Vibrio, Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli, and Yersinia enterocolitica in addition to the targets in the Enteric Bacterial Panel (BPENT) test
This test can be ordered with other GI tests on the same instrument: VPENT, PPENT
Avoid contaminating stool sample with water or urine and avoid mixing toilet paper or soap with the specimen

Unformed stool in Cary-Blair media (or modified Cary-Blair), filled to the line. Fill as exactly as possible to indicated line.
