Collect a 24, 48, or 72 hour stool specimen. Refrigerate during collection. Please call 317-491-6805 to obtain ARUP collection kit 44192. If additional containers are reuqired, please call sendout department, 317-491-6805. EACH STOOL CONTAINER MUST BE APPROPRIATELY LABELLED. AT THE SAME STOOL COLLECTION TIME,  .

Serum or Plasma: Collect blood during the stool collection time interval.  Allow serum to clot completely at room temperature. Separate from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. Transfer 0.5 mL to an ARUP Standard Transport Tube. (Min: 0.2 mL)ucket unit or 15 minutes in a fixed angle to separate cells from serum. Remember to properly label tube with patient name, DOB, test and collect date. Separate from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection.
