Reference Interval

Nonreactive: Nonreactive treponemal antibody test result does not exclude the possibility of infection with syphilis in early primary disease or clinical conditions such as immunosuppression. If results are inconsistent with clinical evidence, suggest repeat testing in 1-4 weeks.

Reactive: Reactive for treponemal antibodies. May indicate recent, past, or successfully treated Syphilis infection. RPR result to follow. Reportable to Dept. of Public Health.
