Remarks

Stool cultures screen for Salmonella, Shigella, Campylobacter and Shiga-toxin producing E. Coli. Specify on order if the physician's requests R/O Salmonella carrier. Notify lab in advance to look for other pathogens such as Vibrio, Yersinia, Aeromonas, etc.
