The ENA SCL70 Ab QN test is a quantitative enzyme immunoassay procedure used to assess the presence of antibodies to the extractable nuclear antigen SCL-70 (also known as topoisomerase I). The extractable nuclear antigen tests are frequently used to distinguish among autoimmune disorders. The ENA SCL-70 Ab QN test may be ordered as a follow up to a positive antinuclear antibody test (ANA) or when there is a suspicion of an autoimmune disease.
