Collection Comments

Invert tube 8-10 times to mix blood with anticoagulant. Send to lab on ice and process ASAP. Centrifuge blood for 10 minutes at 1100-1300 g in a swing-bucket unit or 15 minutes for a fixed angle. Transfer plasma or serum to an aliquot tube.
