Collection Comments
Random urine collection with NO additives or preservatives. Collect urine sample in collection container (urine cup). Aliquot urine by transferring 4 mL into each of two separate aliquot tubes (minimum 2 mL in each aliquot tube). NOTE: The testing lab will accept 8 mL in one aliquot tube (minimum 4mL).
If the specimen screens positive, then Confirmation/Quantitation by LC-MS/MS will be added to confirm result. Additional charges apply.
Use for general testing in contexts of compliance and/or abuse, primarily in the pain management population. Alternative testing strategies include Pain Management Drug Panel by High-Resolution Time-of-Flight or Tandem Mass Spectrometry and Enzyme Immunoassay, Urine.
This test does not distinguish between the delta-8 and delta-9 forms of THC or their metabolites.
