0.5 mL serum

Collection Comments

Do not open the tube or split the specimen.
Do not freeze separator tube.
Do not expose the specimen to air at any time during the collection or transport process.
Centrifuge with stopper in place within one hour of collection.

Storage/Transport Temperature

Preferred: Transport in original serum separator tube at room temperature.
Acceptable: Refrigerated for up to 1 week.

Stability (from collection to initiation)

24 hours at room temperature, if tube is not opened.
