MMC laboratory staff DO NOT have access to Touchworks- Patients must bring a copy of the lab order in order to prevent delays.
When ordering Referred Testing specimens (GENSENDS, ARUP or other reference laboratory tests); Please be aware of the stability window of these specimens (24 hours, 48 hours, etc.). Specimens need to be received at Jefferson daily by 3:30pm (Monday through Friday; excluding weekends and holidays) to be shipped out the same day. Stability information can be found under the ‘Collections’ tab.
