Whole blood in lavender-top (EDTA) or green-top (Sodium Heparin) vacutainer, 2-10 mL.

Additional Requirements

Please record collection date and time on the requisition.

Unacceptable Conditions

Broken tube, mismatched or missing labels, coagulated, >23 hours old, insufficient cellularity, improper fixation, viability <50%.

Storage/Transport Temperature

2-8° C. Do not freeze.

Stability (from collection to initiation)

24 hours at 2-8° C.
