Collection Requirement: Please deliver directly to the Immunopathology Laboratory in Starr 715. 

Transportation Requirement: Please deliver immediately. Specimen is stored and transported at room temperature. If you located at the Weill Cornell Campus, please call the Immunopathology Laboratory for pickup 746-2442 Option #3.

Stability: Time Sensitive; Specimens should be received in the laboratory IMMEDIATELY from collection to assure sample integrity and optimal cell viability.

Epic Order: Epic Order must be in collected status, printed requisition must accompany the specimen and specimens must be labeled with appropriate specimen labels and not generic labels. 

Unacceptable Conditions

Discrepant information, Unlabeled or incorretly labeled specimens and hemolyzed samples, patients that have tested postive for or suspicious for CJD or TB.
