Note: Due to stability limitations, testing is not performed on Saturdays, Sundays and/or holidays without prior Hematopathology approval, pager 220-0853. Therefore, collections on Friday after business hours through start of Monday business day will likely be cancelled. Approval is limited to Heart Transplant and Emergency Department patients only.

Original unopened tubes are the only acceptable source for testing.

Specimens greater than 30 hours, clotted, refrigerated and frozen specimens
