This test detects specific IgE antibody to Gluten

Collect

Serum Separator Tube.  A 5 mL SST allows for testing of up to 15 allergens.  A 7 mL SST allows for testing of up to 30 allergens.

Specimen Preparation

Allow specimen to clot completely at room temperature, followed by centrifugation to separate serum from cells.  Send the clotted/centrifuged tube to the lab for testing

Storage/Transport Temperature

Transport specimen to laboratory at Room Temperature

Stability (from collection to initiation)

After separation of serum from cells: 48 hours at ambient temperature; 7 days refrigerated; >7 days frozen
